"Getting Started in Watercolor Landscape"- January 28, February 4 & 11, 2012

Learn the basics in a 3 day workshop
If you have always wanted to try watercolors or tried and found it frustrating, this small group series of carefully planned classes is perfect for you! Daily demos and step by step lessons will demystify materials and complex techniques. Learn to paint loose flowing washes , understand color mixing, develop powerful skies, rich greens, rugged mountains. Create strong compositions. Gain confidence and paint 2 dynamic landscapes, as illustrated.
"Landscapes on Yupo"- Saturday, March 3 & Sunday, March 4

Spend 2 afternoons learning to splash watercolors on Yupo paper to create amazing landscapes. You will love the fluidity and the ability to lift areas to white.
"Windows and Doors"- Saturday, April 13 & Sunday, April 14

Come choose from my latest collection of powerful
photos of windows, doors and verandas from many countries. We will paint traditional watercolors, using glazes, wet in wet mixing and dry brush.
"Wild and Wonderful Monoprints"- Saturday, May 19 & Sunday, May 20
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
$88 per person (Acrylic paints and gessos are provided) -
Experimental explorations with acrylics, gesso and original stamp creation and printing to create 2 dynamic abstractions.

She is the winner of the Pikes Peak Council”s“Ðistinguished Person and Art Educator Award” for 2001. She has taught workshops in New Jersey, Las Vegas, Taos, Ghost Ranch, Rocky Mountain Park and Colorado Springs. She is currently teaching on Celebrity, Princess and Cunard cruises.
